The System Marketing Strategist and Account Manager is responsible for development and execution of system-wide marketing strategies to support assigned Premier Health services and programs. This role will serve as marketing lead for assigned programs and services. Ensures marketing plans position organization for growth and drive business objectives and results. Strategic relevance

* Develops and implements strategic marketing plans that drive increased brand awareness and preference as well as strong relationships and loyalty with consumers and patients, in support of the organization's market share and revenue/growth goals for assigned programs and services across Premier Health. Deploys both B2C and B2B marketing tactics to engage targeted audience(s) and drive awareness, perception, and volume growth.

* Establishes effective relationships with key administrative and physician stakeholders at the system, region and entity levels. Collaborates with leaders at the system and entity level to organization to ensure alignment with organization strategic priorities and to identify opportunities, issues and challenges. Develops strategic solutions and action plans. Develops and maintains consistent planning documents. Leads communication about progress and results to system and entity leaders, highlighting outcomes and return on investment. Solicits and incorporates feedback from leaders and subject matter experts to design successful programs.

* Serve as subject matter expert for assigned programs and service areas, working to understand clinical processes and procedures, patient journey information, and emerging treatment modalities to ensure effective positioning. Actively seeks and digests large volumes of data and strategic intelligence to develop deep understanding of product line(s)

* Collaborates with market intelligence to stay abreast of industry marketing approaches, competitive issues and positioning of services by competitors, financial and payor mix and all other relevant data related to creating success.

* Plans quality marketing techniques and programs that distinguish Premier Health from competitors.

* Ensures the Premier Health (and affiliate) brand promise and visual identity are effectively and consistently presented in the marketplace.

* Strives to deliver high quality marketing strategies and tactics in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner. Manages assigned marketing and communication priorities and establishes processes for development and coordinated deployment of marketing plans within allocated budget. Uses project management system to guide prioritization and keeps team members informed of progress.

* As part of an Agile marketing team, works with interdisciplinary teams within the division to ensure appropriate and effective delivery on all strategic marketing tactics. Seeks new and innovative methods of driving business results with focus on measurement and desired outcomes.

* Defines and translates desired outcomes/KPI's and ensures team activities support the overarching objectives and priorities of the organization. Help align the team, leaders, and stakeholders to ensure strategies are aligned and articulated.

* Foster a sense of ownership and continuous improvement within the team.

Scope/Span of Control:

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises FTEs: No - This position does not have any direct reports.

Essential Duties & Functions:

* Works with the System Director, Marketing Strategy and Account Management to support development and measurement of strategic plans to promote system products and services.

* Ensures brand standards and graphic identity is upheld in all marketing and promotional initiatives. Is an active partner in managing and protecting the brand promise.

* Maintains awareness of current and emerging trends in marketing communications, research, and online consumer engagement, and ensures Premier responds appropriately in advance of the marketplace and competitors.

* Maintains a measurement dashboard to ensure Premier Health meets stated annual goals.

* Ensures and validates a service orientation is maintained throughout the organization.

* Consistently reinforces and emulates organizational mission and values.

* Manages agencies and freelancers as needed.

* Works in conjunction with brand design and digital team as a champion for the brand in deploying marketing approaches. Works with communications team for execution of appropriate internal and external communication strategies and tactics. Works with site marketing team on market segmentation strategies and targeted approaches for respective program and service areas.

* Engages appropriate partners and vendors for the purpose of creative asset development and media placement, providing clear, accurate and relevant direction and input to enable strong results and on-brand assets, employs best practices and follows all protocols for creative asset development established by brand standards. Ensures vendor quality and measures results to ensure return on investment.

* Obtains and retains legal, clinical and stakeholder approvals for creative assets.

* Develops and implements promotions that aligns with system brand messaging and leverage all system assets and digital tools to drive results for system and entity goals. Uplifts brand through creative work and deployment.

* Ensures consistent use of project management system for all project requests and assignments.

* Consistently shares updates with key stakeholders and seeks to keep all parties informed of progress on strategies, tactics, and related metrics.

* Works with team to develop timelines and task assignments to appropriate individuals inside and outside the division.

* Meets deadlines while juggling multiple priorities and projects.

* Measures, drives, and reports results of marketing strategies and tactics, working to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of targeted initiatives strong ROI and successful outcomes for product line efforts.

* Responsible for budget planning and management for assigned programs and services. This includes invoice tracking and payment, variance reporting and overall management of assigned budget. Must possess skills of performing duties within or below budget.

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

Additional requirements:

Type of degree: Bachelors degree

Area of study or major: Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Communications, or related degree.

Preferred educational qualifications: Master's degree in related field, a plus

Experience

Minimum Level of Experience Required: 7 - 10 years of job related experience

Prior job title or occupational experience: Marketing Manager, Strategic Planning, Brand Manager, Marketing Communication Manager, Marketing/Product Manager, Marketing Consultant, Journalism, Communications, Healthcare management

Preferred experience: Healthcare marketing

Knowledge/Skills

* 7-10 years' experience in marketing or related field.

* Deep knowledge of health care industry, trends and business acumen.

* Strong project management skills.

* Experience in Agile marketing methodologies a plus.

* Exceptional oral and written and communication skills with deep knowledge of social media, activation and emerging channels/trends. the technical skills needed to make positive judgments with respect to copy, printing, layout, design, photography and electronic advertising

* Experienced in managing cross functional teams and outside agencies and ensuring cost-effective and productive results.

* Ability to prioritize and make decisions related to marketing execution and project management based on best practices and experience.

* Must be nimble and flexible - ability to shift priorities and focus areas quickly based on area of greatest need.

* Passion for leveraging the dynamic, shifting landscape of health care to drive effective marketing initiatives that engage consumers and drive business objectives.

* Working knowledge of processes for measurement, like testing, tracking and analyzing campaigns.

* Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with all levels of staff (executive, front-line, and physicians) and function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Committed to exceeding expectations in performance and leadership.

* Results-oriented and exhibits attention to details.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:

1. Normal office environment - incumbent must possess all visual skills

Hybrid role - incumbent must be available for minimum of 1 day per week in the office for team collaboration. Additional in-office days may be needed occasionally for specific on-site meetings or trainings. The first 90 days will be full-time in office for onboarding.
