M1 Support Services Aviation Business Development/Capture Management professional will be responsible for development of new business opportunities and management of program captures, proposals, and strategy in the aviation services market.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with identifying new business prospects to help drive business growth.
Support the development of strategic partnerships, relationships, and alliances.
Assist with developing short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
Perform initial analysis of proposed or actual request of capabilities, and requests for proposal (RFPs) to determine technical, schedule, and past performance requirements.
Support proposals in response to RFPs and unsolicited opportunities.
Quickly understand Government requirements and develop technical solutions and strategies.
Support the proposal process in the following manner:
Review RFPs to determine customer requirements and to develop winning strategies.
Develop proposal materials as it pertains to solutions and offerings to meet RFP requirements including proposal writing, concepts of operation, and manning solutions development.
Work closely with subject matter experts and functional teams to craft and author quality responses to requests for information (RFI) and RFPs.
- Support proposal reviews as required.
- Issue requests for qualification (RFQ) to subcontractors and coordinate timely submission of subcontractor data to pricing.
- Support cost proposal preparation and review for new business and contract re- competitions.
Determine teaming requirements for prime efforts; identify and qualify industry partners and identify teaming opportunities.
Identify and participate in marketing events such as trade shows that support capture objectives.
Interface with customers, program management, and upper management regarding contract status and potential issues.
Maintain records of business development opportunities and forecasts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
