**The Opportunity**

Biolinq is a San Diego CA based company that currently has great career opportunities for multiple Assemblers. Through your journey to grow with our Company, as a subject matter expert, the Assembler constructs complex instrument and sub-assembly builds per established procedures and completes complex troubleshooting while maintaining production schedule. This position will also support a production line to assist with questions related to assembly procedures, processes and reviewing documentation. The Assembler will be responsible for daily progress reports on instruments and training all new personnel within the assembly area. It is expected this position will assist engineering in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes. Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, Compliance and Quality Standards are mandatory. ****What you will be responsible for****

* Performs complex assignments with and without established procedures. Assignments require considerable judgment, initiative, creativity and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement.

* Able to complete Assembler I and II responsibilities

* Uses machinery, equipment, fixture, and a variety of mechanical tools to build complex sub-assemblies

* Assists Production Supervisor in pulling inventory for work orders and maintenance of associated quality records, scheduling work orders to meet production requirements in as efficient manner as possible, while minimizing down time. Informs management of scheduling or productions problems as they arise

* Escalates production issues within the work area to the attention of the Production Supervisor or Manager and to appropriate support groups as necessary

* Ability to teach and train new associates on manufacturing execution system.

* Mentors operators, technicians and other peers on enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

* Participates in functional as well as technical discussions with the team

* Anticipates production schedule, gathers data, rotates resources on the floor to balance the line, cross trained and acts as SME for assembly (top level and sub assembly)

* Support production line in writing all production events

* Reviews reprocessing work and ensure line down data collection is complete and accurate.

* Partners with test technicians to assist with triaging complex issues

****Education, Experience and Key Skills****

* High school diploma or GED

* Minimum 4 years of experience with mechanical assembly

* Chemistry application experience preferred

* Strong Technical writing skills required to aid in documentation review and completion

* Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Documentation

* Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format

* Organized, self-motivated and focused with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines

* Demonstrates root-cause problem solving to identify and perform troubleshooting

* Proficient with Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
