Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative (1.0 FTE). Responsibilities include:
- Arranging for the efficient and orderly registration of clinic patients, admissions of inpatients, ER visits and individuals who have hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures.
- Interviewing incoming patients and enters information required for admission into computer database
- Answers incoming calls through WWH's call center and makes outbound calls to patients.

Minimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED
- Familiar with PC based hardware and software programs
Preferred Qualifications:- 2+ years related experience
- 2+ insurance knowledge
- Familiar with electronic medical records
- Superior customer service
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
- Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards
- Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records
- Clearly and effectively convey information to patients
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
- Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility
- Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment
Work schedule:- 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per biweekly pay period
- Monday - Friday
- Every 4th weekend 1:00pm-9:30pm
