Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a Mail Processing and Payment Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the incoming mail, particularly checks, and ensure smooth processing and transition to electronic payments. This position requires attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mail Handling: Responsible for opening and sorting incoming mail, with a focus on checks and other financial documents.
  • Document Scanning: Utilize scanning equipment to digitize incoming checks and related documents, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Payment Tracking: Maintain an Excel tracker to record details of received payments via hard copy checks, including payer information and payment status.
  • Electronic Payment Transition: Identify clients or partners still utilizing hard copy checks for payments and facilitate the transition to electronic payment methods (ACH).
  • Data Entry: Accurately input payment information into relevant databases or software systems, ensuring integrity and completeness of records.
  • Additional Projects: Participate in or lead additional projects as assigned, which may include process improvements, system enhancements, or other administrative tasks.
Job Requirements:

Must know MS Excel basics

Prefer an administrative background
