Sr. Accountant Full Time
Raleigh, NC based homebuilder, Robuck Homes Triangle, LLC, is seeking a full-time initiative-driven / self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person would be responsible for handling and executing the day-to-day and monthly accounting, including accounts payable. In addition, this person would assist in financing activities and both internal / external report preparation. This position interacts with management, banks, and staff at all levels both inside and outside the Company.
Main duties include:
Procure and maintain all construction financing
Order and renew lot and construction appraisals
Montor lines of credit and covenants testing
Manage / own accounts payable process
Job cost reporting
Own month-end and year-end full cycle accounting
Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger
Prepares financial statements and reports including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
Prepare and report cash flow projections
Assist with tax return and audit preparation
Assist with budget creation and oversight
Work closely with the Company s Controller and Owner in the operation and reporting of Company financial performance
Other duties include:
Assist in processing of employee expense claims
Set up new vendors and jobs in system
Monitor AP / AR accounts
Reconcile homeowner deposit and trust account
Maintain and enforce business policies and procedures
Assist management with budget oversight, financial and cash-flow planning
Ideal Candidate:
Minimum two-year degree in Accounting
3 5 year of accounting experience preferred
Strong accounting skills required
Excellent communication and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a team-oriented environment
Must be reliable and dedicated to the entire company
Ability to translate work output and problem-solving solutions to Ownership and Third Parties
Construction and / or Job Cost Accounting experience is not required but would be a plus and preferred
Experience with Sage 300 a plus, but not required
