PRIMARY JOB DUTIES: The Receptionist is a key team member. They are the first

person our participants, clients, donors, and staff interact with. The receptionist is responsible

for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and informed reception area. Multitasking is a key

skill for this role. This position is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm with some flexibility

required.


Primary face for KHCC as an organization - candidates must value this responsibility

and be prepared for a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for all messaging from KHCC including ensuring daily operating hours,

out of office messages, timely response to voicemail and following up with

appropriate staff - KHCC opens at 8am EST sharp, must be ready to receive

participants.

Responsible for sorting all mail - stamp and sort out, scan and email to advise staff of

required timely response.

Support fire and other safety drills and messaging over the PA system.

Provide reception coverage in the KHCC main building as assigned.

Responsible for maintaining the Senior Staff Daily Attendance.

Responsible for payroll checks and metro card distribution.

Responsible for maintaining and distributing the KHCC monthly calendar.

Responsible for managing KHCC space reservation calendar and assisting with the

coordination of space challenges.

Responsible for replenishing office forms and notices as applicable.

Responsible for managing and updating team meetings as assigned.

Responsible for vehicle, walkie talkie and any other relevant binders.

Responsible for submitting monthly Parks attendance and annual reporting.

Responsible for maintaining the internal e-mail communication.

Responsible for supporting Operations Assistant in all aspects of duties (including

making appointments, receiving vendors, managing packages. etc.).

Responsible for package management - sign with delivery, announce to relevant staff,

keep signature log for receipt, and keep the reception area clear of any

boxes/packages or supplies.

Responsible for office supplies inventory.

Ensure all visitors and guests must sign in - visitor s book Make sure visitors

including vendors and contractors leave their personal number in case of contact

tracing.

Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director.

Any other duties required by changes in health regulations (Ex. Taking visitor

temperatures).


REQUIREMENTS:

At least one year of relevant experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Bilingual, Spanish/English REQUIRED - other languages welcome

Ability to multitask, high attention to detail and enjoy doing tasks

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to lift 10-15 pounds
