**What you will be doing:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Systems Monitoring Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network, systems, security and application monitoring. The IT Systems Monitoring Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of our network, security systems and applications. This role involves leading a team of network and security operators and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless monitoring services.
**Network Infrastructure** **Management:**
+ Implement, and manage the organization's network operations center, including network, security and application monitoring tools.
**Performance** **Optimization** **:**
+ Monitor network performance and proactively address issues to maintain high availability, low latency, and efficient utilization of network resources.
**Security** **Enhancement:**
+ Implement and enforce network security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive data, prevent unauthorized access, and mitigate potential security threats.
**Team** **Leadership:**
+ Lead and mentor a team of network monitoring operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation to ensure a high level of technical expertise and operational efficiency.
**Hiring new staff** **members** **.**
**Troubleshooting and Issue** **Resolution:**
+ Investigate and resolve complex IT incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
**IT Monitoring** **Documentation:**
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of monitoring tool configurations, diagrams, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
**Disaster Recovery and Business** **Continuity:**
+ Participate in business continuity planning to ensure IT systems resilience and data availability in case of disruptions.
**Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Infrastructure, security, and applications, to align monitoring strategies with business objectives and support the implementation of new tools and applications.
**Technical** **Expertise:**
+ Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance the organization's network capabilities.
