This *Pharmacy Tech *position is located in our *Pharmacy** Department*.
*Hours:*
This is an on-call Per Diem non-benefited position.
*Starting Salary:*
$26.82 - $37.98/hr** Rate of pay quoted is for less than one year up to 30 years of experience. Pay is determined by years of experience. PLUS shift differentials where applicable.
**An additional 15% has been added to the base wage, in lieu of benefits.
*What you'll do**:*
* Under the direction and supervision of a pharmacist, provide assistance in filling and computer entry of orders, billing and posting of pharmacy charges.
* Perform clerical duties, maintain inventory, and process out-patient prescriptions.
* Have the primary responsibility for billing/posting charges and maintaining inventory systems.
*What you'll need**:*
* Obtain and maintain a State of Alaska Pharmacy Technician license.
* Have completed a Pharmacy Technician Course or have 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
* Have experience with wholesale ordering and inventory control.
* Be able to operate such general office machines as a personal computer, adding machine, fax machine, and photocopier.
