Amotec is actively seeking a Robotic Technician! Our client is a global manufacturer located in Greater Fort Wayne, IN. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Robotic Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on robotic manufacturing equipment. This is a 1st Shift position and includes a competitive hourly pay, bonus and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify/adjust/troubleshoot robotic programs
- Troubleshoot and maintain robot paths, wiring, drives, electrical controls, and communications on robotic equipment
- Utilize a laptop and network interfaces/ software programs to communicate with robotics equipment
- Coach and mentor other technicians as needed
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of electrical training or a Journeyman s certification or 5+ years of industry experience working with robotics
- Strong working knowledge of various robotics
- Working experience with PLCs
- Working experience with Drives and Communication Protocols
