**Description**
ProRehab Physical Therapy is looking for a Full-Time Floating Front Desk Medical Receptionist for our Louisville and Southern Indiana area. This individual must be motivated and a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with people. Our practice is passionate about patient care, and we are looking for someone who is detailed, organized & reliable with previous front office experience.
**A summary of job responsibilities includes:**
* Front desk scheduling
* Greeting patients, and checking them in and out for appointments
* Answering phones and email inquiries
* Collecting co-pays and other fees required prior to office visits
* Obtaining pre-authorizations for patient visits
* Insurance re-verifications
* Data entry, running reports, auditing and filing
* Maintaining the front desk and reception areas
* Patient and physician interaction on the phone, and in-person.
* Managing, updating, and charting patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
* Additional duties as assigned
This unique position will allow you to work with a variety of patients floating in our Louisville and Southern Indiana area.
Previous medical/dental front office, administrative, customer service, or front office experience is a definite must. History of working with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approval is preferred. If this sounds exciting to you, and you have previous front office experience, we would love to meet you!
**Pay: $16/hr PLUS bonus opportunities!**

**Requirements:**
* Working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, co-payments related to the delivery of medical care
* Previous administrative or other professional office experience in a medical setting preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office equipment
* Good writing and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and remain friendly and professional.
* Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations.
* Friendly personality with the desire to work with the public.
* Ability to prioritize and follow up on completion of tasks.
* Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic status.
