Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff members to maintain high standards of service and professionalism.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner, striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee the delivery process to meet the demands of the establishment.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to develop menus, set pricing, and ensure offerings align with customer preferences and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, liquor licensing laws, and workplace safety protocols.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers, increase foot traffic, and enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency to uphold the restaurant and bar's reputation for excellence.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, such as expanding catering services, hosting events, or introducing new concepts, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but NOT REQUIRED).
