Education Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONSLIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Basic Life Support. JOB FUNCTIONS - As part of the Patient Care Services team, this position performs the following tasks under the direction of a RN:Watches over patients that have been designated as a risk-to-self. Assists patients with walking. Effectively communicates with all members of the patient care team throughout the shiftand completes a thorough and comprehensive handoff with the other Patient Safety. Associates and RNs. Assists in the patients meal and nourishment, by setting up trays, feeding the patientand/or assisting the patient in eating.
