Director of Strategic Execution for Research, Policy and Insights (RP&I)The Director of Strategic Execution for RP&I will contribute to elevating JPMorgan Chase's thought leadership by providing strategic guidance, project management, and other support enabling RP&I to achieve its goals. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to lead high-level strategic work, and collaborate across the CR/RP&I organizations to create efficient and effective systems, track progress, and evaluate impact. This position will require an ability to both drive senior level, priority work and provide centralized coordination and support for the team. Job responsibilities Corporate Responsibility: Manage strategic planning (business planning) processes across RP&I and touch points with other CR teams and JPMC partners, as needed Firm: Advise Head of RP&I on strategic plan / priorities and objectives for the department based on mandates and expectations of JPMC senior leaders` External: Monitor internal and external opportunities to ensure RP&I stays competitive compared to peer organizations in market Content: Responsible for developing OC, OC-1 or CR Management Team-level strategic presentations and requests, plus other materials as needed, as well as high priority projects. Support intra-department connectivity (i.e., identify and execute on opportunities for greater connection between each RP&I team's book of work, in partnership with Heads of JPMCI, PolicyCenter and Insights and Impact) Prep Head of RP&I for internal and external meetings and engagements, in partnership with Heads of RP&I teams and communications Responsible for the coordination of business cases and requests for department resourcing and other funding or administrative items, within and for the department, working closely with CR's CFO Office Ensure alignment between resourcing model ($ and people) to strategic objectives Work with RP&I Leadership team to plan off sites, build an effective, positive team culture, lead EOS response for department, and coordinate ongoing learning and training support for department. Ensure that the team has excellent knowledge management and other systems in place to facilitate cross CR/RP&I coordination, efficiency, collaboration, etc. Assess/track the performance of RP&I against its strategic objectives, produce reports and make adjustments / recommendations as needed Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 10+ years of relevant experience in management and/or internal consulting functions and/or chief of staff functions in addition to 1+ year of relevant Executive Director level experience Experience creating concise communication materials and presenting findings to senior management Experience with people management Interpersonal leadership and influencing skills - ability to lead projects, interact with colleagues at all levels, prioritize issues and manage team capacity Experience with cross-functional collaboration, including influencing stakeholdersPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Experience interacting with executive management and senior leaders
