Audio Visual Technician
Location: Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, Utah
Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour DOE
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, PTO, 9 company Holiday's, 401K after 1 year of work. Closed Sundays.
Job Summary:
Thanksgiving Point is seeking an experienced and dynamic Audio-Visual Tech to join our team. The Audio-Visual Tech will be responsible for overseeing all audiovisual operations, assisting clients, managing equipment, and providing technical support for events and programs across Thanksgiving Point venues. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality audiovisual experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all audiovisual operations for events and programs at Thanksgiving Point venues.
- Coordinate with event planners and clients to understand their audiovisual needs and requirements.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, and screens.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding audiovisual needs.
- Consult with clients to determine their audiovisual requirements and provide recommendations based on their needs and budget.
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events.
- Provide technical support to event staff and clients for audiovisual equipment and setups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any audiovisual issues that may arise during events.
- Train staff and clients on the proper use of audiovisual equipment.
- Manage and maintain all audiovisual equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Coordinate equipment rentals and purchases as needed.
- Stay informed about new audiovisual technologies and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Associates degree in Audio Engineering, Multimedia Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2+ years of experience in audiovisual operations, preferably in a hospitality or event management setting.
- Strong technical skills with experience in setting up and operating audiovisual equipment including sound systems, microphones, projectors, and screens.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of current audiovisual technologies and trends.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Pass a background check
