Narratent was established in 2019, when two college friends partnered up on a side project to design a website. That project later evolved into a side hustle designing more websites. Then, the side hustle evolved into a strategic, creative and digital marketing agency.

Since then Narratent has flourished into a team of strategists, creatives, and analysts headquartered in Chicago s downtown River North area.

We ve been tapped by groundbreaking and emerging brands such as NBC Sports, BET Networks, Universal Music Group, Waymaker Media, Pronghorn, and Rush University Medical Center. The company that started as a web design shop has since expanded into a comprehensive suite of capabilities, including social media, brand strategy, creative production, and multicultural consulting. Primary Responsibilities

As Social Media Strategist you will have the ownership of developing rich, relevant, and well-performing content for client social media accounts. Collaborating with the design and production team, you will be charged with the responsibility to drive social media strategy with fresh ideas, data-driven insights, and powerful digital storytelling ability.

  • Stay abreast of audience or consumer behavior and what draws the right attention
  • Develop and execute brand strategy, messaging, and positioning for small businesses and large corporations
  • Develop strategies that lead to metric-based growth of impressions, engagement, shares, follower growth, watch time, and more
  • Have fundamental understanding of marketing and how social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook are constructed
  • Monitor the internet for cultural moments, relevant news, and contemporary topics
  • Ideate for a versatile mix of content formats including short-form video, carousels, graphics, GIFs, and more
  • Partner with the design team to bring your ideas to life through creative assets
  • Organize content and editorial calendars at a short-term and long-term pace
  • Write caption copy that captivates people and entices them to engage or take action
  • Take a firm lead on ideation, strategic and tactical brainstorming, and the workflow of content production with support from the Copywriter and Content Coordinator who will report to you
