Performs routine functions relating to patient care including but not limited to observation of vital signs, taking physician orders, and patient data transcription.
Position Responsibilities
- Initiate treatments as prescribed by physician or care plan.
- Take and record patients vital signs.
- Administer medication as prescribed by a physician.
- Document and report signs indicating a change in the patient's condition or behavior.
- Transcribe physicians orders from patient charts as directed or required.
- Answer patient calls and offer assistance as necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and orderly work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supervision is received from designated Nursing Services Personnel.
