Electronics Multicraft I
This position is responsible for the movement, installation and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment. This position requires the knowledge to fabricate parts or equipment per blue print. Associate will require a high level of mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools, small and large power tools. In this position the associate works closely with manufacturing representatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Obeys all plant/safety rules and complies with all OSHA regulations.
Moves, troubleshoots and installs machinery and equipment.
Repairs machinery by replacing broken or defective parts and making necessary adjustments.
Maintains adjustments and set ups on machinery.
Evaluates worn parts to determine if and when replacements are needed.
Initiates paperwork to order replacement parts.
Lubricates machinery and equipment as needed.
Maintains reports of all malfunctions investigated and corrected on circuits and electrical equipment. Informs supervisor of the results.
Repairs motors and makes rewiring and other repairs.
Recommends substitutes and replacements for equipment not in stock to improve or upgrade equipment.
Maintains proper use of all tools and equipment.
Assists with emergency work after hours as necessary.
Maintains close working relationship with production associates on machine problems to determine if equipment is capable of running different production jobs as requested.
Responsible for fabricating new parts, rebuilding old parts that are necessary for the continued operation of the facility.
Assists in all electrical repairs and installations.
Assist in directions and instructions of maintenance mechanics in lower classifications.
Attends training sessions as assigned.
Maintains good housekeeping practices and proper safety procedures.
Performs job that require all levels of skill installing, trouble shooting, performing preventive maintenance on electrical circuits and equipment.
Master of General Multi-Craft skills
Troubleshoots low (24v) and high voltage (480v) circuits
Understands 3phase power and has basic knowledge of PLC's.
Can troubleshoot both AC and DC circuits and motors
Performs other duties assigned.

Experience Required:

Minimum of one year in a maintenance setting.
Minimum of one year electrical/electronic experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to install, troubleshooting and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
Knowledge of DC drive controls, AC and DC rotating machinery, mechanical equipment and other complex equipment.
Knowledgeable in the National Electrical code for electrical installations as well as company specifications and standards.
Ability to climb and work from scaffolds, ladders, and swinging stages.
Ability to use hand tools, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, welders, and other maintenance shop equipment.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors and drives.
Ability to rebuild pumps, motors, cylinders, and other manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and understand blue prints.
Ability to read and understand schematics.
Ability to fabricate parts or equipment from drawings or verbal instructions.
Ability to perform work with a high degree of independence.
Must have the ability to read, write, and calculate simple math.
Fork Truck skills/ certification.
Ability to show a desire to learn higher skills to develop self as a craftsman.

Education Required:

Required Education:
GED or high school diploma
Vocational training in schematics and blue prints.
General maintenance exam NOCTI National Test
Standardized Electronics exam
Electronics training
