We actively seeking exceptionally talented Collection Attorneys with in-depth experience in civil litigation to join our talent bench for a long term flexible remote engagement with a sophisticated boutique law firm.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Five Plus (5+) years of experience in civil litigation, must be experience in representing financial institutions in collection actions for loan defaults, experience in representing financial institutions who tender loans on behalf of Small Business Administration (SBA) is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of SBA laws and regulations, preferred.
- Provide comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of documents, financials, notices and demand letters, draft/ review pleadings, discovery, and correspondence to initiate collection actions.
- Represent client in court litigation proceedings, depositions, negotiate settlements, and judgments.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in California.
- Experience in representing financial institutions/ lenders/ banking is required and experience in bankruptcy and foreclosure is a plus
