**Description**
We are seeking a hard-working candidate to join our team as a Housekeeper! The housekeeper assists with maintaining clean and organized facilities.
**Job Duties:**
* Ensure the buildings provide a welcoming environment.
* Ensure day to day standards of cleanliness, tidiness and suitability for occupancy of all rooms.
* Reports any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices to management.
* Performs routine daily cleaning of assigned rooms; change bed linens; replaces towels; cleans bathrooms thoroughly; vacuums, mops and dusts daily; cleans kitchen areas.
* Maintains integrity when cleaning patients rooms.
* Ensures that all garbage from waste baskets and trash are removed and disposed of properly.
* Keep room supplied with paper towels, toilet paper and soap.
* Inspect all areas for maintenance issues and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
* Utilize custodial supplies according to safety protocols.
**Qualifications:**
* At least one year of housekeeping experience.
**Abilities/Competencies:**
* Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
* Adheres to: Healthcare Code of Ethics
* Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards
* Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding:
