Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team in Perry, GA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting, preferably within the construction industry. The Accounting Manager will oversee and review all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight: Manage daily operations of the accounting department, overseeing all transactions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Reporting and Compliance: Work closely with the CPA to provide all required financial information and assist with audits and tax preparations.

Software Management: Input job data into job management software, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and maintained.

Communication: Liaise with field workers, superintendents, and project managers to compile progress reports and submit them to the government for accounts receivable purposes.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and financial expenditures, providing regular updates to the Controller.

Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks as needed to support the Controller and ensure smooth financial operations.

Experience:

Minimum of three years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the construction industry.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Excellent multitasking abilities.

Proactive and hardworking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Education:

A degree in Accounting is preferred.

Software Proficiency

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required.

Experience with QuickBooks Online is preferred.

Familiarity with RedTeam Construction Software is advantageous but not required.
