Kitchen and Bath Designer Company: The Washington Kitchen Gallery, a subsidiary of Ganassa Tile Co. Inc., and Washington Marble & Granite Co., both long standing, family owned and operated companies established in 1985 and 1988 respectively; is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and certified Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our growing team. The Washington Kitchen Gallery opened in 2006 and has been growing ever since. Our primary channel is through contractors and designers who bring their clients to us and count on us to deliver a quality design. We provide the support contractors need to complete the job. The ideal candidate would be a highly organized, multi-tasking individual, who enjoys a fast-paced environment. Job Duties: Serve as creative design principal to The Washington Kitchen Gallery (TWKG) and Owners Work with homeowners, designers, builders, contractors, architects, suppliers and fellow TWKG team members Establish clients goals, style, needs and budget Translate clients wishes and desires into a design vision. Clearly communicate the design to the client and adjust based on their feedback Oversee PowerPoint and Contract development with Showroom Assistant. Provide all guidance and documentation necessary Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, from first Client Meeting through job completion Provide detailed installation instructions and drawings to contractors Communicate daily with Showroom Assistant, work as a team Communicate with owners weekly in sales meeting to review leads and jobs Quarterly and year end sales/profitability reports Follow established processes and update or revise as required Responsible for strengthening existing business partnerships where applicable Follow market and design trends to assist owners in making strategic decisions for the business unit Qualifications: Must have a passion for design High value on honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer service AKBD or CKBD Certification preferred, or equivalent work experience Ability to manage project through all phases of design Experience in 2020 Design Software or equivalent design software Proficient in Microsoft Office, Including PowerPoint Strong written and verbal communication skills Problem solver; Self-Motivated; Detail Oriented; Highly Organized Experience in Showplace, Waypoint or QCCI cabinet lines is a plus Bachelors degree preferred Track record of high performance and achievement Benefits: Flexible Hours Permitted Salary, plus commission Paid Vacation and Sick Leave Weekends by appointment only (occasional) Working Hours M-F, 9-5 If interested please contact Angie Joy by email at ...@TWKGallery.com Skills Experience Job Type Location Frederick, Maryland Posted about 2 hours ago
