The HR Business Process department at Cracker Barrel uses business systems knowledge and technical experience to make recommendations on business process improvements that yield efficiencies and productivity gains. This group works with multiple departments across the organization to analyze human capital and HR data and improve the organization.

This position will function as consultant for the HRBP department, using expertise to guide and improve multiple business processes. This position will also be responsible for executing, monitoring, and troubleshooting employee lifecycle actions within Workday while making recommendations on process improvements.

Responsibility:

1. Gather project requirements, deliverables and manage deadlines based on business need. Works to clarify any ambiguity with the project teams.

2. Conducts return on investment analysis and process simulation to evaluate business impact. Directs cross-functional project teams and vendors. Ensures all stakeholders have knowledge of process changes and implementation schedules.

3. Serves projects as a Project Manager, Business Analyst and/or project team member.

4. Works with third parties, internal business unit resources, and technical IS resources to configure, monitor and test system updates while improving system integrations. This includes communication and downstream process change management.

5. Serves as a consultant guiding multiple business areas providing expertise when leveraging technology to improve business processes.

6. Analyzes processes for HR systems across multiple departments. Makes recommendations on process improvements as well as suggestions for new technology or enhanced functionality.

7. Conducts industry best practice research and stays current with HR technology offerings

8. Act in liaison with the Information Systems team

9. Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot all HCM and payroll transactions within Workday. This includes new hire processes, terminations, compensation changes, time tracking, leave requests, and other employee lifecycle actions.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education

* 2+ years experience using and supporting Workday HR Technology solution (e.g., ERP HR Payroll, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management System, Performance Management System, Benefits Administration System) required

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field

Certifications

* PHR, SPHR, SHRM preferred

Knowledge and Skills

* Project Management skills

* Skilled at business process design

* Industry knowledge related to human capital management and information technology

* Is detail oriented, thinks critically, reasons analytically, and solves problems

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong analytical skills

* Strong documentation skills

* Workday ERP system experience

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role at our home office. In office days are Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday with remote flexibility Thursday and Friday
