** Asphalt Plant Laborer**

**Position Summary:**
Seeking Individual to perform various duties around an asphalt job site which include general laboring, equipment operation, and routine maintenance. Must be dedicated and willing to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality of safety standards.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Assist plant supervisor with the daily operations and upkeep of the job site.
* Operate site machinery such as skid steers and front-end loaders in a responsible and safe manner.
* Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
* Ability to follow directions.
* Must be able to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures manual, and OSHA guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
* Front End Loader and Skid Steer experience preferred.
* Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred.
* High school education or GED equivalent.

**Work Environment:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to airborne particles. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
