Reports to: Store Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager

Primary Purpose: The Sales Specialist drives sales growth by personally selling deep and across all product categories and delivering emotionally engaging customer experiences consistent with the brand vision. The Sales Specialist promotes a high-performance selling culture by inspiring, supporting and mentoring peers.

Key Responsibilities:

Drives top line store sales and growth by personally selling to customers

Moves with intention throughout the store, connecting with multiple customers

Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds effectively

Creates a memorable connection by asking effective questions to identify customer needs and make a compelling product recommendation

Uses confident selling statement and is effective at overcoming customer objections

Displays expert product knowledge and takes initiative to elevate personal and peer knowledge of product categories

Participates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual performance towards the goal

Makes it a priority to understand the business and offers suggestions on how the store can be more productive

Creates enthusiasm for selling strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others selling behaviors

Assists in training of new associates, serving as a shadow partner

Delivers a friendly and efficient point of sale (POS) experience processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.

Responsible to meet minimum monthly sales target

All retail employees at Nectar Bath Treats are responsible for:

Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivity

Creating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicable

Setting personal goals and tracking individual and team performance to the goals

Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable POS procedures

Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell

Understanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standards

Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues

Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention

Actively engaging in product demonstrations to showcase our products to customers.

Proactively attracting and captivating customers through effective interaction techniques.

Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment

Understanding and demonstrating Company values

Leads and or participates in the company s personal development and philanthropic initiatives

Qualifications:

Demonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive loyalty

Ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skills

Business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills

Excellent visual merchandising skills

Strong product knowledge

Contributes to and thrives in a sales-driven culture.

Enjoys fostering positive interactions with individuals of all age groups, particularly children.

Comfortable adhering to a uniform policy, including wearing a distinctive pink apron.

Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and proficient in restocking, cleaning, and conducting inventory counts.

Adherence to a no-facial-piercing policy.

Embraces a family-focused company culture; covers any inappropriate tattoos during work hours.

Schedule flexibility to include nights and weekends. Must be able to work holidays.
