What You ll Be Doing
Handle a caseload of Family Law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and options.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
What You Need for this Position
- Must be admitted to practice in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 3 years of family law experience but more experience preferred.
- Can handle own caseload with independent decision making and has some trial experience.
- Strong written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated and organized.
- Excellent research skills.
- An existing book of business is a plus, but not required.
