ob Summary:


You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and belong to a team of Project, Chemical, Mechanical, Reliability, and Electrical Engineers along with Quality Technicians, a Drafter and Documentation working onsite. You will lead the coordination, construction, and cost control of projects from conception to startup. Your contributions will support short-term needs while balancing long-term priorities and builds ownership while creating enthusiasm and support for the vision, goals and required business changes. This is a safety sensitive position.


Job Description:


You Will:

Support and participate in all Environment, Health and Safety initiatives and activities.

Lead multidiscipline project teams to design, organize, schedule, and implement project plans.

Supervise Engineering and Construction contractors to ensure that all plant replacements, modifications, and additions are performed in strict conformity with design specifications and applicable code requirements.

Help define project scopes in collaboration with management and other departments.

Develop a project schedule that allocates the resources to the activities.

Oversee the progress of the project and make adjustments to ensure successful completion promptly.

Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies

Forecast project cash flows on a monthly basis.

Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process.

Support turnaround planning.


You Have:

Engineering degree (Mechanical or Chemical).

5 or more years of experience in project execution in a chemical plant or refinery.

Experience in project management and implementation.

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
