Starting base salary: $130 -160K
Summary
Oversees shop production daily under the direction of the VP of operations. Monitor and control every area of workplace safety to make sure OSHA guidelines and company's criteria are being followed.
Responsibilities
- Sets up and participates in all meetings as specified by the project procedure. Maintains staff by union and human resources standards
- Maintains the maintenance of all production machines as well as all inventories pertinent to production.
- Manages and controls all shop safety issues, such as adhering to OSHA rules and regulations.
- Adheres to all employment policies and offers management suggestions for improvement.
- Closely coordinates labor resource allocation with project managers
- Upholds the Production Standards' quality control requirements
Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail, correctness, and organization
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in a related field
- Skilled with PC-based office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Prior experience with exhibit construction, trade exhibitions, museums, and corporate interiors is preferred.
- Practical experience with basic case and cupboard construction, hardware, building supplies, print reading, and tool use.
