We are looking for someone to join our team of human optimizers for the position of trainer. Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain floor presence and relationships with clients. Floor presence must be kept clean and neat as we follow all COVID cleaning and social distancing requirements.
- As a brand ambassador of Optimum, all training staff must help create a positive fitness and recovery experience.
- Turnover modality room and assist clients with using most modalities.
- Assist clients with modalities, body analysis measurements, EGym, and RFID integrations, and help develop personalized programs for all members.
- Assist with client on-boarding, monthly evaluations, and consultations.
- Maintain a good understanding of all the newest innovations in the fitness field.
Requirements, knowledge, skills, & abilities:
- Minimum 1-year training or hospitality experience with verified references preferred.
- Nationally accredited certified personal training certification from one of the following entities:
- ACSM
- ISSA
- NASM
- NSCA
- ACE- only high-level specialized certifications
- Must have a strong understanding of health and wellness and be able to explain it in a way that the general public understands.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Client service oriented.
- A strong emphasis on hospitality and customer service a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible work schedule availability required.
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or a minimum of 80 hours completed in compatible field.
- Additional certifications in other fields a plus
