Overview:
Unison Global, a leading provider of procurement solutions for the federal government, is seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst with automation experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze functional requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop, design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Create, maintain, and execute automated scripts for testing of web-based applications based upon design specifications and requirements.
- Create test harnesses and other automated tools and scripts for internal use
- Interface with QA team members, developers and business analysts for design and issue verification.
- Peer review test plans and test cases.
- Provide test result reports and metrics
- Perform certification testing for third party products.
- Restore and upgrade databases and websites in QA environment as needed for testing.
- Write and review install instructions for scripts and software installations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of QA testing concepts and methodologies
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodology
- 3-5 years of experience with automation tools (i.e QTP/UFT or Selenium). This includes developing automation scripts and test harnesses to test GUI, API, and Web Services.
- Experience working with automation in ASP.Net applications.
- Experience with API Testing tools (i.e. Postman , SOAPUI )
- Familiarity with using configuration management and bug tracking software (i.e. JIRA) products preferred
- Experience in Behavior Driven Development testing tools ( i.e. Cucumber and Gherkin) is required.
- Experience in Load testing tools ( i.e, storm runner and Truclient) is a required.
- Ability to write queries against an Oracle database and run using SQL Plus/ TOAD to perform data verification required
- Advanced knowledge of scripting in languages such as C#, Java, VB Script, JavaScript, ANT, Python, Bash, or Maven is a plus
- Strong analytical (ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions) and problem-solving skills are required.
- Ability to manage time, multi-task, and change priorities.
- Knowledge of federal procurement process is desired
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
