Position summary: Responsible for business development, financial success, bridge and construction inspection and managing staff, including team leaders, technicians, and project engineers/managers. U.S. Residency Required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices
Develop Project Management plans for assigned projects
Establish project pricing and budgets
Create and maintain project schedules
Develop and maintain project specific quality plans
Develop and coordinate project scope
Manage subconsultants
Participate in client presentations
Oversee and manage assigned staff working on project
Manage all technical resources on the project team
Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals
Coordinate and assist other Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals

Required SkillsRequired Experience
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
Professional Engineer License or equivalent
8+ years' experience in specialized discipline
Project management and business development experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience
Experience working with clients at the local, county and state level
Supervisory experience
Project management and business development experience
Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment 60% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
Field work is required possibly 40% of the time. Occasions where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
