They will bring with them a passion for and exceptional knowledge of fine food and beverage, a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike and an abundance of positive energy to the restaurant. As a natural leader, the manager is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality while directing seamless service execution on the floor.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and supervise the day-to-day activities of restaurant staff
  • Assist in all capacities necessary to ensure positive guest experiences
  • Maintain positive partnership and effective communication with culinary team
  • Create innovative programs and promotions that drive revenue through increased patronage
  • Support budgeting and expense management to maximize profitability


Qualifications

  • Previous new venue opening experience preferred
  • Polished and professional appearance and communication abilities
  • Minimum 5 years' full-service restaurant management experience in upscale environments (no chains)
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary food, wine and cocktail trends
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, delegate and prioritize work
  • Track record of success in developing and mentoring effective teams
