Volt is immediately hiring Facility Construction Workers in Warrendale, PA.

As a Facility Construction Worker you will:

  • Follows all OSHA, cGMP, and company policies in the performance of all tasks.
  • Renovates the buildings through facility improvement projects. Some tasks include the installation of drywall, ceiling tiles, floor tiles, general framing duties, door installation, and concrete/masonry work.
  • Performs painting duties using brushes, rollers, and sprayers as required.
  • Performs plumbing, plumbing maintenance, and mechanical system alterations as needed.
  • Assists other facility services personnel in the maintenance and repair of facility systems or equipment.
  • Maintains production equipment and machinery in accordance with preventative maintenance plans.
  • Safely operates machinery and equipment as needed to perform essential duties. These may be but are not limited to man-lifts, forklifts, skid steers, wheel loaders, backhoes, excavators, power tools, hand tools, welders, grinders, power washers, drain snakes, compactors, etc.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, both internally within the department and externally with other departments.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Performs other facility maintenance duties as assigned.
This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must have prior building construction experience.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude, knowledge of construction practices, and ability to read blueprints.
  • Must be able to perform a wide variety of construction tasks.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment including but not limited to saws, drills, nail guns, grinders, man lifts, paint sprayers,
  • Must be able to operate equipment at heights of up to 25 feet or more
  • Teamwork and cooperation skills
  • The ability to produce quality work in a team setting or as an individual is essential for success in this role.
  • High School/GED required, trade school preferred.

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
