The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work at our Center for Industrial Training (CIT) facility in Mechanicsburg. CIT provides lucrative job training and employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities and those with other vocational needs. This position has a set schedule with daytime hours, no evenings, weekends or holidays. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for the shipping and receiving functions of the Production Department. Some duties include:
* Operates various warehouse equipment forklift, pallet mule, etc.
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Stretch wraps/bands pallets and bales cardboard
* Drives agency van or straight truck (and tractor trailer if applicable)
* Inventory on supplies
* Prepares products for shipment
* Instructs trainees in the use of the equipment
**Requirements:** Min imum of one year experience in industrial shipping/receiving or materials handling operation preferred. Adequate time management, organization, and communication skills required. Must possess valid PA driver's license, CDL preferred, and must adhere to CIT/CPARC Driving Policy. Must possess physical stamina to include the ability to climb ladders, lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds, and stand for up to four (4) hours. Ability to operate forklift necessary. May be required, and must be willing to work varied or additional hours. CIT operates Monday through Friday during day time hours.
**Compensation:** This is a full time position (30 hours per week) with a starting rate of $15.86 per hour.
