Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Properly operates the dish machine. Checks chemicals, temperature, and sanitizer and records on appropriate formsCleans and sanitizes all trays, glassware, plates, mugs, utensils, etc. after each mealProperly disposes of garbage routinely throughout the dayPrepares beverages for tray line and keeps coolers stocked with beveragesDelivers residents/patient trays to each stationPractices proper food safety measuresMops dietary department daily and as needed. Cleans any spills and uses wet floor signs appropriately.Delivers supplies to stations as neededCompletes daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as assignedProperly stores all food and supplies using FIFO. Labels and dates all foods prior to being storedAssist other staff in the Dietary Department as neededPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesAbility to read and write and follow written and oral instructionsHigh school diploma or GED requiredFood service experience preferred
