**Shipper/Receiver (Material Handler)**
**Department:** Shipping/Receiving **Location:** Kent, WA

This position title will be Material Handler but the job duties will also include various shipping and receiving tasks.
**Work Description:**
* Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading
* Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
* Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location
* Operate lift truck or hoist
* Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures
* Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
* Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system)
* Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis
* Receive all inbound parts & transfers
* Other duties as needed
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* 1+ year of related experience preferred but not required
* Forklift operations experience preferred
**Physical Demands:**
* Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs up to 2/3 of workday
* Other physical activity include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching
