Rello Search Partners is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst in Land O Lakes, FL. Our private equity backed client is in high growth mode operating in multiple states in the commercial real estate (REIT) and property management industry. They are looking for a strong finance professional to join the team.
The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the VP of Finance Investment and is a newly created position due to growth of the company. The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with senior management and will have direct exposure to the CFO.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and update financial modeling, forecasting, market research and investment analysis, contributing to the strategic decision-making process of the Company.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of commercial real estate assets, including cash flow projections, investment return calculations, and sensitivity analyses.
- Perform market research and due diligence to evaluate potential investment opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Prepare investment memorandums, financial reports, and presentations for clients, senior management, and the board of directors.
- Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders to create financial models for property valuations, lease analysis, and property underwriting.
- Assist in the negotiation process by providing financial insights and supporting documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze property performance, lease agreements, and operational data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and economic indicators that may impact commercial real estate investments.
- Work with various software tools and databases to gather and analyze property and market data.
- Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations effectively.
- Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Commercial real estate (REIT) or property management industry experience highly desired; private equity experience also a plus
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling with advanced Excel, including knowledge of real estate valuation software
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Familiarity with real estate investment concepts, lease analysis, and property due diligence.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills to include pivot tables and VLOOKUPS; SQL, VBA and macros a plus
