Yard Facilitator, Heavy


Job Details

7:30 am 4:00 pm Monday Friday, overtime and weekends as needed

  • Inspect and identify damage on rental and used equipment as it is returned from demonstrations and rental use.

  • Load and unload equipment for customers

  • Track all shipping and receiving of equipment within the yard.

  • Scan bar codes on all rental and used equipment during deliveries and complete return inspection form

  • Responsible for the upkeep of the yard, making sure it s a safe environment at all times for employees and customers

  • Assist with winter snow removal.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Three or more years of heavy equipment operation and knowledge a must.

  • Ability to operate a bar code scanner.

  • Computer literate. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.

  • Must be a self-starter with good time management.

  • Excellent planning & organizational skills required.

  • Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and provide your own tools.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Must have a valid driver s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).

This position works in the equipment yard and shop environment. This position will spend a good portion of time being outdoors, exposed to elements of weather, dust and dirt. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. May be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Will need to or use a keyboard to communicate through email.
