Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Administrative Support Specialist at Wiseman Funeral Home located in Camp Springs, MD. The Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the funeral home. The role involves assisting with various tasks such as answering phone calls, managing appointments and schedules, coordinating funeral services, preparing documents and reports, and providing support to grieving families.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and empathy
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively
  • Experience in a similar administrative support role is preferred
  • Knowledge of funeral home operations and funeral service industry is a plus
