Job Title: Sr Maintenance Technician - Multicraft

General Summary: The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring minimal downtime, enhancing productivity, and upholding the overall production system in alignment with company policies and procedures. This position primarily focuses on maintenance activities encompassing production equipment, facilities, and utility systems, with a strong emphasis on robotics tuning, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC programming.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support maintenance activities across all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to maintain a reliable production platform.
  • Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance in collaboration with production management to ensure the operational efficiency of plant production equipment and facilities.
  • Execute general building maintenance tasks to upkeep facility infrastructure.
  • Undertake machine repairs, specializing in electrical and robotic equipment.
  • Contribute to Kaizen and other related continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Preferably holds an Industrial Maintenance Associates degree.
  • Possesses intermediate to advanced electrical training certifications.

Experience:

  • Demonstrates 2-5 years of extensive skills in robotics tuning, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC programming.
  • Proficient in programming software to optimize process improvements and troubleshoot.
  • Preferably skilled in intermediate to advanced programming of A/B processors.

Personal/Technical Skills:

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Flexible in adapting to a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Willingness to accommodate mandatory overtime as needed.

Computer/Software:

  • Familiarity with RS Logix programming software, Factory Talk View for panel views, Micrologic, RS Logix 5000, Mitsubishi; A series.

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Works in an automotive manufacturing plant environment.
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Capable of talking, seeing, and hearing during job duties.
  • Able to perform tasks involving walking, sitting, and standing, with occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be capable of working from aerial platforms and climbing fixed, portable, and stationary ladders up to 25ft.
