We are seeking a Journey Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial and residential settings. Skilled in tasks such as wiring buildings, installing fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and hands-on experience, and ensure that all work meets safety standards and building codes.
*Journey Electrician Responsibilities*
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
* Perform electrical work on commercial projects, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution
* Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems
* Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
* Safely work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Collaborate with other trades, such as frame carpentry, to complete projects on time and within budget
* Install and program logic controllers for industrial automation systems
*Journey Electrician Position Requirements*
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Enrolled in or completed an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
* 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
* Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
* Experience working on commercial and industrial projects
* Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
* Familiarity with high-voltage equipment and safety protocols
