The environmental services associate-II cleans and services buildings. Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned areas such as soiled holding, compactor, and loading dock. Performs routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis, accepting supervision, despite frequent interruptions. May spend considerable time outdoors transporting debris to compactors, picking up debris, sweeping, and removing ice and snow as necessary. Operates floor care equipment as assigned
Work Location: Washington, DC
Evening Shift Part time
6:00 PM -10:00 PM with Every other weekend
Must have the mechanical ability and technical knowledge required for operating powered equipment and the initiative to meet the most rigid care requirements. Some floor care or related experience desirable, although duties may be learned through in-service training. Must know how to operate environmental service equipment and products such as hand tools, cleaning chemicals, floor maintenance materials, and powered equipment. Must be familiar with standard procedures used during the execution of assigned duties and the cleaning of an isolation or biologically hazardous area. Minimum computer skills required for email and to log in and out of EPIC tracking system.
