SUNSET/GRAND is currently interviewing for a Bakery Manager at our Long Grove location, 4190 Route 83, Long Grove, IL 60047. Sunset/Grand is a neighborhood supermarket, dedicated to providing the finest customer service found anywhere. Requirements include:Excellent supervisory and communication skills;Ability to oversee operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store;Cake decorating skills and a minimum of 2 years of Baking experience required;Manage pastry making/baking, inventory and purchasing for the department;Exceptional customer service skills;Monitor quality of goods and service within the bakery department;Responsible for the department staff training, assignments, and scheduling;Accountable for monitoring and achieving sales, purchasing, and labor targets;Must maintain proper product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control;High school diploma or its equivalent;Minimum of 2 years of bakery experience is required;Must be able to lift 50 pounds;Must be able to be exposed to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit;Ability to Multi-task.
