We are looking to fill our **Inventory & Forecast Analyst** position! The Inventory & Forecast Analyst is responsible for finding solutions to meet company goals for forecast error, inventory turns, fill rate and other company metrics. The Inventory & Forecast Analyst also works with one of our largest customers in managing consignment inventory in warehouses across the US. They will work to monitor inventory levels to ensure high fill rate without creating excess inventory and reduce inventories of excess/discontinued products.

**Our Expectations from You**

* Works in collaboration with the account manager of one of our biggest accounts as well as key analysts at their corporate headquarters to ensure inventory plans and strategies are aligned for success

* Ensures that customer and company fill rate standards are met by identifying and reacting to potential stock-outs

* Ensures that inventory standards are met by identifying and reacting to potential excess and discontinued inventory

* Analyzes demand and POS history to develop quantitative baseline projections

* Collects and disseminates forecast intelligence and assumptions

* Coordinates judgmental review of baseline projections with sales management to develop forecasts that accurately reflect anticipated demand

* Reports, reviews, and reacts to significant forecast variances

* Ensures that forecasting timelines are followed

* Assists and promotes individual and organizational learning regarding past and current forecasting assumptions and forecasting best practices

* Works with sales and operations to ensure that sufficient inventory plans are set for high risk products (new products, high forecast error, long lead time, or never out products)

* Identifies and reviews potential stock-outs, and coordinate changes to the supply with sales and operations

* Identifies and reviews potential excess and discontinued inventory and coordinates changes to the supply with sales and operations

* Drives disposition of excess and discontinued product including raw materials

* Conducts and participates in pertinent meetings special research, data analysis, continuous improvement, or other projects as approved or assigned

* Supports efforts to recruit, coach, train, and develop team resources

* Promotes teamwork, within department and cross functionally, builds and improves internal/external relationships

**Required Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field, from an accredited university, or 2-4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Microsoft Excel: Intermediate experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Prior forecasting, inventory management, customer service, and process creation & improvement experience preferred

* SQL Experience preferred
