Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing a critical defense project providing focused technical, administrative, management, policy, and operational support capabilities to ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies, to enable the day-to-day operations of the OUSD(I&S)'s mission. The Project Manager will apply project management best practices, risk management strategies, and strong leadership skills to deliver high-quality results in a highly regulated and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

  • Provide project management supporting including the management and oversight of all activities performed by Arlo contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Serve as the primary interface and Point of Contact (POC) with the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and technical points of contact.
  • Provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership execution of the project.
  • Institute and maintain industry best practices, standards, processes, and methodologies in overseeing contractor staff to ensure deliverables and services are meeting the Government's requirements.
  • Notify the CORs and technical points of contact if any technical, security, financial, personnel, or general managerial problems occur.

Education and Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience in project management, preferably DoD contracting.
  • Experience applying project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using project management software.
