Imperium Global have recently partnered with a key market player within the Mining, and Construction Materials market for a Plant Manager position within Arizona.
This organisation operates across the Eastern and Mid West regions in the US. After recent record breaking growth, production volumes and safety performances this organisation is looking for a highly experienced Plant Manager with detailed experience within the Aggregate Mining, Construction Materials and Heavy Civil Construction markets to achieve their rapid expansion strategy. The ideal candidate will have full Plant Management experience including PnL. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example, in still ownership and inspire your team to achieve excellence in all areas, challenge the status quo, and encourage creative solutions to challenging problems.
- Work with sales staff to thoroughly understand the market area, its impediments to success, and target growth opportunities. Be seen as a valuable partner to our customers.
- Be a visible leader within the operations, recognizing employees for being safety leaders, experts in their respective areas of responsibility, and help them achieve growth opportunities and success.
- Think strategically in developing short, intermediate, and long-term operating plans and budgets for the business.
- Develop and support an ownership mindset with your direct reports, encouraging them to do the same to their direct reports.
- Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a positive, safe work culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including those related to safety, health, and environmental.
- Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in processes, materials, equipment, or skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in Mining industry.
- Experience in Plant management and manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication, management and supervisory skills.
