Job Details

The Executive Assistant will be highly instrumental in providing support to the President of RE/MAX, as directed, to advance company goals and objectives and ensure operations run efficiently. This position will be responsible to prioritize and attend to the day-to-day functions that are part of the President s role so that the President is enabled to focus on high-level leadership and strategy functions. This role serves as the eyes and ears for the President, connecting organizations, projects, and critical business information, and serves as a trusted partner to deliver against the priorities of the business.


Essential Functions:

  • The ideal candidate will work directly with the President and have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate the President s needs.
  • Be able to interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and leaders that report to the President.
  • To perform this job successfully, the individual is expected to handle highly sensitive and confidential financial, legal, personnel and institutional information while exercising professionalism and discretion.
  • Maintain the President s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, dinners, events, speaking engagements, and travel (may include domestic and international) arrangements. Exercise discretion and diplomacy in committing time and evaluating needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between the President, RE/MAX LLC staff and the public. This includes receiving and screening the President s phone calls and visitors, answering a variety of questions with tact and diplomacy, taking messages, and directing calls appropriately for resolution.
  • Assist the President in the development of presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize matters of attention for the President; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
  • Keep the President advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties.
  • Handle printing, mail/overnight packages, copying, and email/messages.
  • Compose and prepare letters relating to routine correspondence for the President s signature.
  • Schedule departmental meetings; assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas and materials.
  • Prepare documents, reports, tables, spreadsheets, charts; distribute as appropriate.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports.
  • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Attend varied meetings and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of summaries.
  • Complete a variety of special projects including creating PowerPoint presentations, financial spreadsheets, special reports, and agenda material.
  • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.
  • Occasional travel will be required.

  • A detail-oriented self-starter with prior experience in the real estate industry preferred but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor s Degree Preferred

Years of Experience: 5-7 Years supporting an executive or executive team

  • Excellent computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) as well as Slack
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and time-management skills

Hire Range/Rate:

$77k - $100k


Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
