Position Overview:

As a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and academic institutions in California. Through scientific expertise and strategic collaboration, you will contribute to the advancement of medical education, clinical research, and advocacy efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions in the field of oncology within California.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date medical information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a scientific resource for healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and providing support on therapeutic areas and products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute strategic medical plans to support organizational objectives.
  • Represent the company at medical conferences, advisory boards, and other scientific events.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Strong understanding of oncology, including disease states, treatment modalities, and emerging therapies. - REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within California and occasionally nationally, as required.
