Assistant Account Executive


Job Details

Our Rhode Island based retail client is looking for an Assistant Account Executive with 2+ years' experience for an immediate temp to hire full time contract; this role is onsite Monday-Friday and 40 hours per week. You'll be supporting Account Managers and working closely with the sales tema on everything from the vendor set up of forms to assisting with meeting presentations. Must have strong Microsoft Office skills as well as the ability to create PDF files for catalog usage and a background in customer service or admin roles would be a good match here. A background in customer service or some experience as an Account Coordinator or Account Executive is ideal for this role.




MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Assist with meeting presentations, sample prep and presentation books

? Responsible for filling daily requests as needed by clients

? Satisfy all store-customer requests and respond to inquiries in a responsive, timely and accurate manner.

? Complete new vendor set-up forms on behalf of the client

? Fill out all required information on client order forms and any internal sales/item set-up spreadsheets

? Send out and track pre-production samples as required by clients

? Communicate approvals, rejects and changes to product, by client, to internal team

? Send and track production samples as required by clients

? Complete customer item set-up forms/spreadsheets for clients

? If required, use client s website to set-up items

? Ensure accuracy of all data communicated to customers by website or spreadsheet

? Ensure all information is provided to client to process EDI orders

? Responsible for making sure DC is notified of all incoming orders, ship dates and cancel dates

? Verify accuracy of orders sent from clients (EDI or Fax)

? Regularly review order status with appropriate expeditor and advise sales team of any changes or issues

? Other duties as required.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS


? 2+ years of experience performing functions and related tasks in a Customer Service or Account Exec role.

? Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

? Ability to create PDF files for catalog usage

? Strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.

? Ability to multi-task and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.

? Excellent follow-through skills, strong attention to detail and ability to interact with other departments to obtain

information regarding status on orders, customer samples, etc.
