Job Details

Opportunity: Michigan Financial Companies is currently looking for a full-time administrative assistant to work directly with an Investment Advisor Representative. This position will be working out of our Southfield office location.


Objective: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Financial Advisor in their day-to-day operations. Must be very comfortable working with a personal computer.


Reports to: Financial Advisor


Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Answer and make phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Assist with marketing communications
  • Maintain compliant files
  • Update electronic filing system
  • Submit account paperwork
  • Follow-up on submitted paperwork
  • Update Client Relationship Management system (CRM)


Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize
  • Must be technology savvy
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn other software programs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with clients
  • Experience with a Client Relationship Management (Salesforce & Redtail) tool
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Experience in the financial services industry


Compensation:

  • $20-25 per hour based on qualifications
